I was a young Air Force wife, mother of two sons, living in Australia, when I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I have been married 45 years, and have four adult children and ten grandchildren. As a young Christian, God impressed on my heart the power of prayer and the importance of prayer; I have been a pray-er for many years. I am still passionate about prayer and want to see the Body of Christ become stronger and stronger in their prayers both individually and corporately. Prayer is an act of faith, a privilege, and a powerful tool for spiritual warfare. Through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus we are one with God the Father, we develop this oneness through daily prayer in a growing relationship with our Heavenly Father. In these days of evil it is vital we learn to be sensitive to the voice of God within us and obey His voice (John 10:27). It is a privilege to serve God as the Prayer Coordinator for the Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Church. The WM prayer team serves you as we meet weekly to pray over the requests we receive and daily as individuals lifting them to our Father; in addition, all events of WM are covered in prayer. Our goal is to partner with God in prayer for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
